Dayton International Festival 2023 (DIFI) – A World A’Fair

For the past 15+ years, Del Pueblo, Inc has represented the country of Mexico at the Dayton International Festival. Del Pueblo, Inc. participation to the event provides a booth representing authentic Mexican food, a dance group with Mexican heritage dances on a main and informal stage. Along volunteers, Del Pueblo, Inc. supports other logistical tasks for a successful event such as ticket sales, parking attendants, wrist bands, and much more. A year round planning is necessary so this three day event materializes along other 30 other non-profit organizations each one representing one country. 

COVID-19 / Coronavirus Community Efforts

During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Del Pueblo, Inc partnered with the State of Ohio Minority Health Department and the Ohio Commission of Latino/Hispanic Affairs to distribute Personal Protective Equipment (Face masks, hand sanitizer and information).

Del Pueblo, Inc, partnered with LULAC Dayton (Chapter 3900) to identify and assist distributing Chromebooks and gift cards to assists students and families during the pandemic.

Supporting the Mobil Mexican Consulate in Dayton, Ohio / Consulado Movil de Mexico 

Every year, Del Pueblo, Inc assist with the organization and coordination to bring the Mobile Mexican Consulate to serve the Dayton, Ohio and near by area residents to process official documentation.

Del Pueblo, Inc partners with several organizations around the Springfield areas to support local festivals fostering cultural understanding and building relationships among the diverse communities.
